Lorenzo was educated in his native Italy and Switzerland. After graduating from the University of Rome in Italy with a degree in Law and Economics, he re-located to New York City and entered the financial services sector with Lehman Brothers. From there, Lorenzo served as Managing Director of European Sales for Ladenburg Thalmann & Co., then returned to Italy to pursue a successful career as a Fund Manager for Banca Intesa.

Lorenzo entered the real estate profession through sales and acquisitions on behalf of his family’s investment interests, a role he has occupied for 20 years. Coinciding with his relocation to New York City he founded Avati Corp, focusing on luxury vacation rentals in elite global destinations, as well as real estate sales and leasing.

In 2006 he formed a strategic alliance with Prudential Douglas Elliman, one of the leading full service brokerages in the United States; later establishing the multidisciplinary Avati Team along with Michael Lahm and Rhiannon Kubicka.

In 2017 he and his team joined Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New York Properties, aligning forces with this leading real estate company to deliver trusted guidance, professionalism and integrity to every facet of each real estate transaction.
